An update on a new project – the construction of Labo Culvert, Oranyan Area, Ibadan. The project is one of several flood control measures being undertaken under the Ibadan Urban Flood Management Project (IUFMP). You may read more about the IUFMP here. The project commenced in April 2022, its duration is six months and it is expected to be completed by October 2022.
The Labo Culvert has a dimension of (8×2.5×17)metres to accommodate the volume of run-off and serve as a bridge for both pedestrians and vehicles. Other ongoing IUFMPs are at Orita Aperin, Agodi, Orogun, Kudeti and Ogbere North in Ibadan.
