An update and pictures of the ongoing expansion of the Orogun River Bank along UI-Ojoo Highway, Ibadan. The project is a World Bank-assisted one for the construction of the first pool of long-term investments for flood control undertaken under the Ibadan Urban Flood Management Project (IUFMP). The expansion of the Orogun River Bank also includes a 5-cell (6 x 2)metres culvert. Other ongoing IUFMPs including river expansions are at Orita Aperin, Agodi, Kudeti, Oluyole Estate and Ogbere North in Ibadan. View a list of 24 ongoing IUFMPs in Oyo State here.
