An update and pictures of the construction of Adekile Culvert, Orita Aperin, Ibadan. The Adekile Culvert project is one of several flood control measures being constructed under the Ibadan Urban Flood Management Project (IUFMP). Read more about the IUFMP here.
The construction of Adekile Culvert which commenced in April 2022 is nearly complete and has been opened for use by motorists and pedestrians. The culvert is built to accommodate the volume of run-off and serve as a bridge for both pedestrians and vehicles. Other ongoing IUFMPs are at Agodi, Orogun, Kudeti and Ogbere North in Ibadan.
