An update on the remodelling of the Lekan Salami Sports Complex, Adamasingba, Ibadan. The main bowl of the sports complex was completed under Phase 1 of the remodelling and unveiled by His Excellency Atiku Abubakar, former Vice President of Nigeria, on September 1, 2021. Phase 2 of the remodelling of the Lekan Salami refurbishes and builds facilities for other sporting activities such as lawn tennis, volleyball, gymnastics, swimming, boxing, kickboxing, wrestling, weightlifting, powerlifting and an administrative block. Phase 2 of the remodelling is expected to be completed by February 2022.
