An update and pictures of the ongoing reconstruction of the 30 km Igboho-Igbope-Kisi Road.

Reconstruction is ongoing on the 30 km Igboho-Igbope-Kisi Road, which is an extension of the 45.3 km Saki–Ogbooro–Igboho Road. It is a part of efforts to improve access, ease movement, and strengthen connectivity within the Oke-Ogun Zone. The project has a 15-month delivery timeline and is expected to be completed by March 2027.

The reconstruction, when completed, will fulfil Governor Seyi Makinde’s promise to extend the Saki-Ogbooro-Igboho Road which cuts through three LGAs; Saki East, Saki West and Oorelope through to Kisi in Irepo LGA, further improving road connectivity within the Oke-Ogun Zone.

With the 30 km Igboho-Igbope-Kisi Road serving communities across Oorelope and Irepo Local Government Areas, the reconstruction is expected to improve the movement of people and goods, support trade and agriculture, and contribute to the socio-economic development of the region.
