Work is ongoing on the reconstruction of the 30 km Igboho-Igbope-Kisi Road, a major infrastructure project aimed at improving access, easing movement, and strengthening connectivity within the Oke-Ogun Zone.

The project was awarded on 10 November 2025 to Ratcon Construction Limited, with a 15-month delivery timeline. Work commenced in January 2026, with the expected completion date set for March 2027.

The road project is an extension of the 45.3 km Saki–Ogbooro–Igboho Road, as part of efforts to improve strategic road infrastructure across the zone. As work progressed on the Saki–Ogbooro–Igboho corridor, Governor Seyi Makinde further assured residents that the rehabilitation would be extended to Kisi, leading to the ongoing Igboho-Igbope-Kisi (30 km) reconstruction.

This strategic road network, which serves communities across Oorelope and Irepo Local Government Areas, remains crucial for boosting trade, transportation, and overall socio-economic development in the Oke-Ogun Zone. Upon completion, the improved corridor is expected to significantly enhance the movement of people and goods across the axis.
