A fourth update and pictures of the completion of Sections 1 and 2 of the dualisation of the 12.5km Challenge-Odo Ona Elewe-Apata Road, Ibadan. The contract for the repairs of the defective portions of Section 1 and construction of Section 2 of the road was awarded to Kopek Construction Limited by the Oyo State Government.
The construction was delayed by issues surrounding the compensation of residents whose properties were demolished to make way for the dualisation project. As a result, the project is running behind schedule.
