An update and pictures of the ongoing dualisation of the 8.3 km Akobo-Ojurin/Odogbo Barracks-Olorunda Abaa Junction Road, which is being executed by the Lagelu Local Government Council.

The road was flagged off on Friday, 9 June 2023, and the full length of the road from Idi Ape to Olorunda Abaa was also renamed the Governor Nyesom Wike Road by His Excellency Governor Seyi Makinde. This road is an important one as it provides a connection between Akobo and Olorunda Abaa, reducing the time taken to travel within that axis. It is one of the major road projects scheduled to be completed in 2024.

Local Government Councils are executing numerous projects in their LGAs, similar to the Akobo-Ojurin-Olorunda Abaa Road dualisation project in Lagelu, such as in AfijioOna AraIdoOluyoleIwajowa, etc. and more here.
