An update and pictures of the ongoing junction improvement work at the University of Ibadan. The Oyo State Government awarded the project to Messrs Planet Projects Ltd. The University of Ibadan Junction Improvement is part of Phase 2 of junction improvements at three junctions; the other two at Agodi Gate and Idi Ape Civic Centre were already completed and commissioned on Friday 22 March 2024 by His Excellency, Prof Charles Chukwuma Soludo. Similar to the junction improvements at Agodi Gate and Idi Ape Civic Centre, the junction improvement work at the University of Ibadan Junction, will include pedestrian walkways, traffic signs and signals, drainages, lay-bys for taxis and motorcycles, bus shelters and other infrastructure. The project is estimated to be completed by Q4 2024.
