An update and pictures of the resumed reconstruction of the 45.3 km Saki-Ogbooro-Igboho Road project. The Saki-Ogbooro-Igboho Road reconstruction project commenced in February 2021 and was officially flagged off by Governor Seyi Makinde on 31 May 2021. Although the project is currently running behind schedule, a revised completion date will be announced soon.

The Saki-Ogbooro-Igboho Road reconstruction project is being handled by Messrs China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC) Nigeria Ltd. The Saki-Ogbooro-Igboho Road remains strategic for the socio-economic development of the Oke Ogun Zone as it connects three local government areas (LGAs) in the zone – Saki West, Saki East and Oorelope. Governor Makinde during his campaign on 25 January 2023, revealed that the Saki-Ogbooro-Igboho Road project will be extended through Igbeti to Kisi.
