An update and pictures of the ongoing reconstruction of the 45.3km Saki-Ogbooro-Igboho Road which is being handled by Messrs China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC) Nigeria Ltd using the Alternative Project Funding Approach (APFA).

The 45.3km Saki-Ogbooro-Igboho Road reconstruction project which Governor Seyi Makinde officially flagged off on May 31, 2021 to be completed in a year, is running behind schedule. However, Governor Makinde visited the project site on December 6, 2022, and assured the people of Saki that the project would be completed.

Three local government areas (LGAs) in Oke Ogun Zone – Saki West, Saki East and Oorelope will benefit from this road project which cuts across all three LGAs. Thus, the Saki-Ogbooro-Igboho Road remains strategic for the socio-economic development of the zone.
