The reconstruction of the 5.48 km General Gas Junction-Kolapo Ishola GRA-Iyana Church with a spur to Dizengoff Junction Road, Iyana Church, Ibadan has commenced. This 5.48 km General Gas Junction-Kolapo Ishola GRA-Iyana Church project is a part of Lot 1 of 10 roads approved for reconstruction on 5 December 2023 by the Oyo State Executive Council. In total, 12 roads in Ibadan were approved to be reconstructed by the Executive Council.
The reconstruction of the 5.48 km General Gas Junction-Kolapo Ishola GRA-Iyana Church project and 9 other roads in Lot 1 are being handled by Kopek Construction Ltd and are to be completed within 12 months.
The Oyo State Government is prioritising the repair of feeder roads in Oyo State under Omituntun 2.0 such as the 8.5 km Mile 110-Ring Road Mobil-Challenge Car Park project which has also commenced under Lot 1 of approved roads to be reconstructed in Ibadan.
