An update and pictures of the ongoing reconstruction of the Ido-Eruwa (48 km) road project.
Following the re-award of the project to Kopek Construction Limited, work is steadily progressing along the route, which covers Ido and Ibarapa East Local Government Areas.
The Ido-Eruwa Road is an important link between the Ibadan and Ibarapa Zones, providing a key route for movement between the two Zones. Its ongoing reconstruction is part of efforts to strengthen connections across Oyo State.
Other major roads delivered that connect different zones include the 65 km Moniya-Ijaiye-Iseyin Road, linking Ibadan and Oke Ogun; the 34.85 km Oyo-Iseyin Road, connecting Oyo and Oke Ogun; the 38 km Igboora-Igangan-Iganna Road, linking Ibarapa and Oke Ogun; and the 76.67 km Iseyin-Fapote-Ogbomoso Road, connecting Oke Ogun and Ogbomoso.
As work continues on the Ido-Eruwa Road, its completion will further improve inter-zonal connectivity and movement for residents, businesses and other road users.
