Ongoing Project: Construction of New Akinyele Farmers’ Market

An update on the ongoing construction of the Akinyele Farmers’ Market, Akinlyele Local Government Area, Ibadan. The project is being carried out by the Akinyele Local Government Authority and was awarded to Mortayus Nigeria Ltd.

Upon completion, the Akinyele Farmers’ Market will have 280 units of open stalls, 200 units of lockup shops, a clinic, a police post, a trailer park, a car park, and toilets for males and females. On May 17, 2022, the Sasa Market which was also constructed by the Akinyele Local Government Authority was commissioned. Traders are being given an enabling environment to conduct their daily business.
