New Project: Ibadan Airport Road Dualisation (3.2km)

Work has commenced on the recently awarded 3.2km Ibadan Airport Road dualisation project. The scope of the project includes the rehabilitation of adjoining roads along the airport axis. It also covers the rehabilitation of spur roads around Iwo Road Interchange including the road from Oludare to Bishop Phillips (2 km).

The contract for the Ibadan Airport Road dualisation project was awarded to Kopek Construction Ltd for the sum of N4,998,939,148.08. The Federal Government had already awarded the contract for the rehabilitation of the Ibadan-Ife Expressway to Kopek. So, Kopek are carrying out the Ibadan Airport Road dualisation project as an expansion of the scope of the former contract. However, the Ibadan Airport Road dualisation project is funded by the Oyo State Government.
