An update on a new project – the reconstruction of the 9.3 km Molete Under Bridge-Oke Ado-Oke Bola-Queen Cinema road. This Molete Under Bridge-Oke Ado-Oke Bola-Queen Cinema road project is part of Lot 1 of 10 roads approved for reconstruction on 5 December 2023 by the Oyo State Executive Council.
The Mile 110-Ring Road Mobil-Challenge Car Park (8.5 km), Iyaganku-Seventh Day-Oke Bola Junction and Olubadan Stadium Junction-Vale College-NUJ Press Centre Junction project, and 5.48 km General Gas Junction-Kolapo Ishola GRA-Iyana Church are projects under Lot 1 of approved roads to be reconstructed in Ibadan that have also commenced. Kopek Construction Ltd is handling these and other roads in Lot 1 and will complete them within 12 months.
Governor Seyi Makinde’s administration has promised to extend the repair of feeder roads in Ibadan to every zone in Oyo State as it is a priority under Omituntun 2.0.
