An update and pictures of the ongoing reconstruction of the Ladindin, Iseke, Ojongbodu, Oloko Meje and Ladigbolu Roads (1.5 km) by the Oyo West Local Government Council.

The construction of the Ladindin, Iseke, Ojongbodu, Oloko Meje and Ladigbolu Roads (1.5 km) commenced on 17 May 2026 and is scheduled for completion within a four-month timeframe. The project includes the construction of a double-cell 3 m × 3 m box culvert, drainage systems, and asphaltic pavement.

Approximately 1.2 km of drainage and asphaltic pavement has been completed, while work is ongoing on the remaining 300 m, including the construction of the box culvert.

This project is part of the Oyo West Local Government Council’s efforts to upgrade infrastructure, improve access across communities, and support socio-economic development within the local government area. Other road projects in the Oyo Zone include the 1.9 km Oba Adeyemi-Mobolaje Road, linking St Francis-Baba Iluoyinbo Road, which was recently completed by the Oyo East LG Council.

The ongoing reconstruction of the Ladindin, Iseke, Ojongbodu, Oloko Meje and Ladigbolu Roads adds to the growing list of infrastructure projects being delivered across Oyo State, reaffirming the government’s commitment to improving transportation, supporting economic activities, and enhancing the quality of life for residents.
