Ongoing Construction of Houses at Greenland Estate, Ibadan

An update on the construction of housing units at Greenland Estate, Jericho, Ibadan. The plan is to construct 114 housing units. 56 of these units are at various stages of completion. The project is a public-private partnership arrangement between the Oyo State Government and Michael Grey Contracting Limited, facilitated by the Oyo State Investment and Public Private Partnership Agency (OYSIPA). There are also ten other housing estates being constructed by private firms in partnership with the Oyo State Government.

The Greenland Estate contains 3-bedroom semi-detached houses, 4-bedroom semi-detached houses and 4-bedroom terrace houses. Amenities in the estate includes 24 hours electricity supply, a recreation area which includes a tennis court, a water treatment, a sewage treatment plant, security/facility management and a neighbourhood centre.
