An update and pictures of the construction of Dr Omololu Olunloyo Park, Ibadan by the Oyo State Government. The project for the construction of Dr Omololu Olunloyo Park was flagged off by the then Rivers State Governor, His Excellency Nyesom Wike on March 3, 2023, during the commissioning of the 3.2 km Dr Omololu Olunloyo Airport Road, Ibadan.
The Dr Omololu Olunloyo Park is a leisure park that will include gardens, visual architectural and cultural pieces, a viewing gallery, car parking and toilet facilities. The park, located at the beginning of the Dr Omololu Olunloyo Airport Road will serve as a car park for transport services to and from the Ibadan Airport. The Dr Omololu Olunloyo Park is also a part of Oyo State Government’s plan to expand the economy and develop the area around the Ibadan Airport into an aerotropolis.
