An update and pictures of the ongoing construction of the Fasola Agribusiness Industrial Hub, Fasola, Oyo West Local Government Area. This is one of three farm settlements being converted to agribusiness industrial hubs by the Oyo State Government. The other two are; Akufo and Eruwa farm settlements. The contract for the conversion of all three farm settlements into agribusiness industrial hubs was awarded to Brains and Hammers Real Estate Ltd by the Oyo State Government.
The Fasola Agribusiness Industrial Hub which will host a variety of facilities will also double as an agrotourism centre. On July 28, 2022, 100 Youth Entrepreneurship in Agribusiness Project Beneficiaries (YEAP) in the crop production enterprise were onboarded at the hub. Additionally, the 34.85km Oyo-Iseyin Road which is currently being reconstructed will provide easy access to the Fasola Agribusiness Industrial Hub.
