The reconstruction of the Bus Stop Gate-Oje-Beere-Oja Oba-Molete Under Bridge Road (10.8 km) has commenced. The Bus Stop Gate-Oje-Beere-Oja Oba-Molete Under Bridge Road project is a part of Lot 2 of 2 roads approved for reconstruction on 5 December 2023 by the Oyo State Executive Council. In total, 12 roads in Ibadan were approved to be reconstructed by the Executive Council.
The reconstruction of the Bus Stop Gate-Oje-Beere-Oja Oba-Molete Under Bridge Road (10.8 km) project and the 3.5 km Oke Adu-Ode Aje-Aremo-Orita Aperin Road are the two roads in Lot 2 being handled by Ratcon Construction Company for the sum of N1.88 bn and are to be completed within 6 months.
The Oyo State Government is prioritising the repair of feeder roads in Oyo State under Omituntun 2.0. Roads such as the 8.5 km Mile 110-Ring Road Mobil-Challenge Car Park and 5.48 km General Gas Junction-Kolapo Ishola GRA-Iyana Church projects have commenced under Lot 1 of approved roads to be reconstructed in Ibadan.
