The project duration for the rehabilitation of the Awosika, Rotimi Williams and Ojo Akinyele roads in Old Bodija is six (6) months.
The scope of work includes comprehensive improvements across the roads to enhance accessibility, ease traffic flow, and support economic activity in this area. It includes:
- Reconstruction of drainage structures to prevent flooding
- Reinforcement of the road base
- Application of asphaltic overlay for durability and smooth flow of traffic
Once completed, these upgraded roads will:
- Improve intra-city mobility
- Enhance property access for residents and local businesses
- Improve driving conditions
This project is another one of several initiatives by Local Government Councils across Oyo State, aimed at improving the daily lives of residents through focused and impactful interventions. More roads across the State are undergoing upgrades to ensure sustainable urban and rural development.
