An update and pictures from the ongoing rehabilitation of the 1.23 km Oladejo Adigun/Baale Osuntokun Road. The rehabilitation of the 1.23 km Oladejo Adigun/Baale Osuntoki Road, being executed by the Ibadan South West Local Government Council, is currently underway, marking another important step in improving road infrastructure at the grassroots level.

The project was awarded to Quickborn Nigeria Ltd for a six-month duration, during which the contractor is expected to deliver a durable roadway that supports smoother commuter movement.

Scope of work:

  • Stabilising the road base through site preparation and earthworks.
  • Strengthening the road structure by reconstructing compromised and failed segments.
  • Upgrading drainage infrastructure to safeguard the pavement integrity.
  • Laying the final asphalt surface for a smooth finish.

Once completed, the rehabilitation will significantly enhance accessibility for residents, reduce travel time, and improve connectivity to key areas within the local government.

This project, like the rehabilitation of the road from Alesinloye-Golden Tulip-Foodco-Jericho Junction, reflects the continuous efforts of the Ibadan South West Local Government Council and the Oyo State Government at large to prioritise infrastructure that directly impacts the daily lives of citizens. By investing in roads such as Oladejo Adigun/Baale Osuntoki, the government is strengthening community development and supporting sustainable growth at the local level.
