An update and pictures of the reconstruction of the Araromi Market Road with the construction of Modern Park at Gate, Ibadan North East Local Government Area, Ibadan. The Ibadan North East Local Government Council is making steady progress on the construction of the Araromi Market Road with the construction of a modern park at Gate, Ibadan. This significant infrastructure project is designed to improve road access around the commercial corridors while enhancing the local economy by adding a modern, functional park.
The Araromi Market Road, under construction, spans approximately 3 kilometres in length and 9.06 metres in average width. Once completed, the upgraded road will ease vehicular and pedestrian traffic around the Gate area and provide better access to Araromi Market, a hub for traders, buyers, and transport operators in Ibadan North East LGA.
This construction aims to:
- Improve access to the market and the surrounding neighbourhoods,
- Support local commerce by facilitating smoother transport of goods,
- Enhance urban aesthetics and order, especially with the addition of the modern park.
The Araromi Market Road project is one of several road infrastructure initiatives currently being delivered by Local Government Councils across Oyo State.
