An update and pictures from the reconstruction of internal roads in Olive Estate, Agodi, Ibadan, Ibadan North Local Government Area. This project, covering approximately 3.1 kilometres, is a strategic intervention to enhance mobility and improve living standards. The project is being executed by Track-Care Global Construction Company and forms part of the Oyo State Government‘s ongoing efforts to enhance mobility and improve the standard of living in residential communities.
Key components of the project include:
- Construction of drainage systems to mitigate flooding and prevent erosion.
- Surfacing and grading to deliver smoother, safer roadways for both motorists and pedestrians.
- Improved access roads within the estate to ensure better connectivity with major roads in Agodi and the greater Ibadan North axis.
Currently, drainage construction is underway, and earthworks are progressing across the estate. The next phase will involve the application of asphalt surfacing to complete the reconstruction.
This strategic intervention underscores the Oyo State Government’s commitment to delivering durable infrastructure that supports urban development, enhances residential accessibility, and contributes to inclusive economic growth across local communities.
