An update and pictures of the ongoing reconstruction of the 3.5 km Felele Idi Odo Junction-Splash FM Radio Station-Onigari Felele Expressway, Ibadan, Oyo State.

The ongoing rehabilitation is already addressing some of the longstanding challenges on the road. Drainage works have been completed. The Idi Odo area is a low-lying, flood-prone section notorious for traffic jams during heavy rains, and these drainage interventions are designed to ease the impact of flooding and prolong the lifespan of the road surface.

The Felele Idi Odo Junction-Splash FM-Onigari Expressway serves not just as a link for daily commuters but also as a connector to critical media, residential, and commercial hubs. The ongoing work, once completed, will significantly improve traffic flow, reduce wear and tear on vehicles, and make travel safer for thousands of road users.

You can track other completed and ongoing projects across the State via the blog here and the Oyo State Government Feedback Service on social media.
