An update and pictures of the ongoing rehabilitation of the road from Alesinloye-Golden Tulip-Foodco-Jericho Junction (2.415 km). The project was awarded to Quickborn Nigeria Limited by the Ibadan South West Local Government Council. The duration of the rehabilitation is six months.
The ongoing rehabilitation of the 2.415 km Alesinloye-Golden Tulip-Foodco-Jericho Junction Road marks another important step in improving road infrastructure and easing movement within Ibadan.
Some of the work to be done include:
- Site preparation and earthworks to reshape and stabilise the road base
- Reconstruction and strengthening of failed sections
- Drainage improvements to prevent flooding and water damage
- Asphaltic surfacing for a smoother, more durable road finish
- Road markings and safety improvements for better traffic management
The project reflects the continued efforts of the local government in delivering impactful infrastructure at the grassroots level, complementing broader statewide development initiatives. It also demonstrates that local government councils around Oyo State continue to execute road projects that directly improve the daily lives of residents.
