Here is the list and pictures of some completely renovated primary schools in Oyo State out of the upgrade of 105 primary schools under the Better Education Service Delivery for All Additional Finance; Transforming Education Systems at States Level (BESDA AF-TESS) Programme. The BESDA AF-TESS programme aims to Increase equitable access for out-of-school children, improve literacy rates and learning outcomes, and strengthen accountability for results by improving learning conditions with a focus on essential infrastructure. One way the programme aims to address the issue of out-of-school children is by improving learning conditions.
In Oyo State, 105 primary schools will be renovated. Funding for the renovations was provided by a World Bank grant of 3.5 billion naira, and work has already begun across local governments in Oyo State. Outlined is the list of works carried out, as needed:

- Floor finishes – This includes materials and treatments applied to floors for durability, aesthetics, and functionality, such as tiles, wood, laminate, or polished concrete.
- Doors and Windows – This covers the installation or replacement of door and window frames, panels, and associated hardware for security and ventilation.
- Roofing timber members – These are wooden components, such as rafters and purlins, used to construct the roof’s framework.
- Roofing sheets – These are the materials laid on top of the roofing timber structure, typically made of metal, shingles, or tiles, to create a weatherproof covering.
- Painting and decoration – This involves the application of paint for aesthetic appeal and protection, as well as adding decorative elements to enhance the space.
