An update and pictures of the ongoing Omituntun Free Medical Mission Q1 2025. The Oyo State Ministry of Health is running the 1st Quarter Omituntun Free Medical Mission. The Mission, which was flagged off on Tuesday, 13 May 2025, at the Ibadan North East Local Government Secretariat, Iwo Road, Ibadan, is in full swing.

The Omituntun Free Medical Mission is delivering free and accessible healthcare services to residents across Oyo State, focusing on the elderly, women, and children.

This initiative is part of Governor Seyi Makinde’s ongoing commitment to delivering people-centred governance, and the services available during the Q1 2025 Omituntun Free Medical Mission include, but not limited to:

  • General medical consultations
  • Blood pressure and blood sugar screenings
  • Dispensing of essential medications
  • Eye tests
  • Dental care
  • Health talks and lifestyle counselling

This medical mission highlights the Ministry of Health’s commitment to strengthening primary healthcare and ensuring that every resident, regardless of income or location, can access quality medical services. The Oyo State Ministry of Health invites all residents in neighbouring communities to come out, get checked, and take a step toward better health.

The mission will be at the Primary Healthcare Centre, Ikoyi-Ile, for consultations, and at the Primary Healthcare Centre, Sunsun, for surgeries, both in Oriire LGA, tomorrow, 28 May 2025.
