An update and pictures of the re-awarded construction of the 110 km Senator Rashidi Ladoja Circular Road, Ibadan. The East End Wing (32 km), one of four sections of the Senator Rashidi Ladoja Circular Road which comprises the construction of 6 bridges including 2 interchanges is being constructed. The Badeku Interchange on the Egbeda End of the East End Wing has been completed and other parts of the project are progressing.
The East End Wing of the 110 km Senator Rashidi Ladoja Circular Road was inspected by Governor Seyi Makinde on Wednesday 22 November 2023, where he revealed that his administration secured additional funding from AfreximBank and Access Bank to continue with the construction project.
When completed, the 110 km Senator Rashidi Ladoja Circular Road will create an alternative route for both residents and travellers and reduce traffic congestion within Ibadan as the Senator Rashidi Ladoja Circular Road is designed to encircle the entirety of Ibadan. The project is beneficial to Oyo State’s economy as it will open up more areas in Ibadan and subsequently lead to further development.
