An update and pictures of the ongoing construction of hydraulic structures and asphaltic overlay of Abayomi Holy Trinity Estate, Old Ife Road, Ibadan. The road project is being carried out by the Ibadan North East Local Government.
The road, of average length 910 m, and average width of 11 m, was contracted to Bopoy Limited. The reconstruction includes construction of hydraulic structure to ease the flow of water, preventing flooding, and application of asphaltic overlay to improve the road quality and appearance.
The ongoing construction of hydraulic structures and asphaltic overlay of Abayomi Holy Trinity Estate, Old Ife Road, Ibadan, is one of the ongoing road projects being carried out by Local Governments across Oyo State. This project is complemented by the Zero Potholes Initiative (also by Local Government Councils), which began in Ibadan and is now in other Zones in the State. More roads across the State are undergoing upgrades to ensure sustainable urban and rural development.
