An update and pictures of the ongoing dualisation of the 7.5 km Ariyo-Amuloko-Odeyale Junction Road in Ona-Ara LGA. The project, being undertaken by the Ona-Ara Local Government Council and contracted to Samchase Nig. Ltd, is progressing steadily. The dualisation is part of the 37 km Beere-Olorunsogo-Amuloko-Akanran-Dagbolu Road reconstruction which has been broken into phases and the duration of the project is 18 months.
The dualisation is a reconstruction and expansion of the existing single carriageway into a dual carriageway. The project also includes the construction of drainage, installation of streetlights and other complementary road infrastructure. These upgrades will not only enhance road safety but also contribute to the development of the area.
The Ona-Ara Local Government Council has also completed the dualisation of the 3.1 km Olorunsogo Expressway which is the first phase of the 37 km Beere-Olorunsogo-Amuloko-Akanran-Dagbolu Road reconstruction; and the rehabilitation of the 5.98 km Oremeji Agugu Express-Onigbese Stream-IGEM-Airport Road.
