An update and pictures of the reconstruction of the 5 km Sanyo-Ago-Olunde Road.
The reconstruction of the 5 km Sanyo-Ago-Olunde Road is ongoing. The project, being undertaken by the Oluyole Local Government Council, commenced in August 2026 and is being executed by Emmat Engineering Limited.
The 5 km road will be delivered in three phases. The first phase covers 1.3 km and has a four-month construction period, with completion scheduled for December 2026. The remaining 3.7 km will be delivered under Phases 2 and 3.
Work is currently ongoing on Phase 1. The scope includes the construction of drainage along the road, which will be connected to the existing drainage system to ensure proper water discharge.
Upon completion, the reconstruction of the 5 km Sanyo-Ago-Olunde Road is expected to improve access along the corridor, make movement easier for road users, and add to the road infrastructure being delivered by the Oluyole Local Government Council.
The Oluyole Local Government Council also completed the construction of the Abiola Ajimobi Technical University Health Centre, amongst other projects. Local Government Councils around the State continue to function by bringing the dividends of democracy closer to the people, as shown here.
