An update and pictures from the ongoing reconstruction and rehabilitation of the 30 km Okaka Junction-Otu-Igbojaiye-KAP Film Village Road in Itesiwaju Local Government Area.
The project, approved in September 2025 with an 18-month delivery timeline, is expected to be completed by the first quarter of 2027.
The project includes the reconstruction and rehabilitation of the 30 km road, as well as the construction of bridges across the Otu and Ofiki Rivers, improving access on the route and its connection to surrounding communities.
The road provides improved access to the KAP Film Village and Resort thus supporting this creative and tourism destination in the Oke-Ogun Zone.
Upon completion, the project is expected to ease movement for surrounding communities and support increased economic activity, tourism, investment and opportunities within the area.
