An update and pictures of the ongoing reconstruction of the 2 km Bodija Main Market Road by the Ibadan North Local Government Council.
Work is progressing on the reconstruction of the 2 km Bodija Main Market Road awarded to Uptown Diamond and Landscaping Limited by the Ibadan North Local Government Council. The project, commenced in August 2025.
The reconstruction is aimed at improving movement and connectivity around the Bodija Main Market axis, linking the market through Iso Pako to the Iwo–Ojoo Expressway. Upon completion, the upgraded road is expected to ease transportation for traders, residents, buyers, and other road users who rely on the corridor daily.
The project also reflects ongoing efforts by the local government councils to improve grassroots infrastructure and support commercial activities through better road connectivity and safer movement.
Construction activities are currently ongoing on site.
