An update and pictures of the recently commissioned renovated and equipped General Hospital Tede in Atisbo Local Government Area of Oyo State. The hospital funded by capitation from the Oyo State Health Insurance Agency (OYSHIA) was commissioned on August 4, 2022, by Governor Seyi Makinde.
Governor Makinde encouraged residents of Tede and its environs to enrol for health insurance so they could save on out-of-pocket healthcare expenses and receive better treatment in the General Hospital Tede’s improved facilities. Capitation from OYSHIA is also used to upgrade healthcare facilities across Oyo State.
