A final update and pictures of the now completed dualisation of 7.3 km Agodi Gate-Old Ife Road-Adegbayi Junction with a spur to Alakia-Ibadan Airport (3.3 km). The project was re-awarded to Kopek Construction Ltd by the Oyo State Government in December 2022, after the previous contractor could not complete the project despite the extensions given. The project for the dualisation of Agodi Gate-Old Ife Road-Adegbayi Junction with a spur to Alakia-Ibadan Airport (3.3 km) will be commissioned this month, January 2024.
The dualised 7.3 km Agodi Gate-Old Ife Road-Adegbayi Junction with a spur to Alakia-Ibadan Airport (3.3 km) now eases the movement of residents and commuters to and from the Ibadan Airport similar to how the 3.2 km Dr Omololu Olunloyo Airport Road has eased movements of residents and commuters along the Airport axis.
