Oyo Zonal Peace Security Committee Inauguration

The Oyo State Government inaugurated the Oyo Zonal Peace Security Committee. The committee was inaugurated by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters, Mr Segun Ajekiigbe, on behalf of the Commissioner at the Atiba Hall, Oyo East Local Government Area. AfDB Visit

Governor Seyi Makinde received a visiting team from the African Development Bank (AfDB). The team was led by Dr Chuma Ezedinma. The visit is towards the implementation of the Special Agro-Industrial Processing Zones (SAPZ) programme. While receiving them, Governor Makinde stated that his administration is improving access to farms by rehabilitating over 200km of rural roads through the World Bank’s Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing Project (RAAMP). Security Meeting

As a follow up on the inaugural Security Task Force meeting, Governor Seyi Makinde held a security meeting with the Traditional Council of Chiefs and heads of security agencies. He updated them on the actions his administration is taking to address the security issues in the state. (March 31, 2021)

Oyo State Government Scholarship CBT

The Oyo State Government held the Computer Based Test for 100 level students who applied for the Nigeria-Sao Tome and Principe Joint Development Authority scholarship. The Executive Assistant Administration to Governor Seyi Makinde, Rev Idowu Ogedengbe, said the scholarship programme is in sections. The first section is for 100 students. (March 31, 2021)

LAUTECH Governing Council Inauguration

Governor Seyi Makinde inaugurated the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) Ogbomoso governing council. He tasked the council members to work hard to make LAUTECH one of the world’s top learning institutions.
