The Oyo State Agribusiness Development Agency (OYSADA) hosted the Oyo State Agribusiness Summit at the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA), Ibadan. The event featured presentations, panel discussions, an exhibition and an award dinner that brought together top agribusiness practitioners from all over the world. (October 26, 2021)

Governor Seyi Makinde revealed that his administration is partnering with the French Government to turn Akufo Farm Settlement into an International Farmers’ Market. Governor Makinde said this during his presentation titled “Re-engineering Agribusiness Development in Oyo State” at the Oyo State Agribusiness Summit. He encouraged investors to come to Oyo State to enjoy a pioneer-investor advantage. (October 26, 2021)
The Commissioner for Health, Dr Taiwo Ladipo, announced that the third Free Health Mission tagged Omituntun Free Health Mission has kicked off. The health mission will reach 350,000 people across the 33 local government areas of Oyo State with free healthcare service, while 4,000 persons will benefit from surgical interventions.
