Governor Seyi Makinde received the inaugural flight of Air Peace Airlines at the Ibadan Airport, Alakia. During the event, Governor Makinde also officially opened the Protocol/VIP Lounge at the airport which was renovated by the Oyo State Government. (August 17, 2021)

Vacancies

The Oyo State Anti-Corruption Agency (OYACA) advertised 13 vacant positions in Ibadan and called for applications from qualified candidates as it prepares to commence operations. The OYACA Law was passed in 2019 by Oyo State Government to curb corruption and corrupt practices in the public service. Application closes August 30, 2021. (August 18, 2021)

Courtesy Visit

Governor Seyi Makinde received a team from the Dominican University Ibadan on a courtesy visit. The team was led by the Pro-Chancellor, Peter Obi, former Governor of Anambra State, and the Vice-Chancellor Prof Anthony Akinwale. (August 19, 2021)

The Oyo State Government hosted the Year 2020 Productivity and Merit Award Ceremony for civil/public servants. During the event, Governor Seyi Makinde who presented the awards stated that this was one of the many actions that the government was taking to boost the morale of civil/public servants in the state. He urged the civil/public servants to remain focused on service delivery. (August 19, 2020)
