The Idi Arere-Kudeti-Eleta-Idi Aro-Labo Junction-Orita Aperin Road (2.8 km) Reconstruction is now Completed

An update and pictures of the completed reconstruction of the Idi Arere-Kudeti-Eleta-Idi Aro-Labo Junction-Orita Aperin Road (2.8 km), part of Lot 3 of roads approved for reconstruction in Ibadan. Three of these roads in Lot 3,  Oke Ado-Tribune-Imale Falafia-Ososami-Iyana Adeoyo Junction, Ring Road, Idi Arere-Kudeti-Eleta-Idi Aro-Labo Junction-Orita Aperin Road and the Idi Arere-Popo Yemoja Road-Oke Ado-Molete Road were commissioned on 11 July 2024 by Governor Seyi Makinde as part of the 38.48 km of feeder roads fixed in Ibadan.

Craneburg Construction Company handled the reconstruction of the roads under Lot 3 and had the following works carried out on the road:

  • Cutting off failed spots and removing unsuitable materials within the potholes
  • Repairing of rubble stone retaining wall
  • Scarification of distressed sections of the road
  • Desilting of drains
  • Provision of 200-millimetre thick lateritic sub-base
  • Provision of 150-millimetres thick crushed stone base
  • Provision of compacted 40-millimetre asphaltic concrete binder course as a regulation course
  • Provision of compacted 40-millimetre asphaltic concrete wearing course as overlay
  • Road markings

The Idi Arere-Kudeti-Eleta-Idi Aro-Labo Junction-Orita Aperin Road in Ibadan South East Local Government Area links up with the Oke Adu-Ode Aje-Aremo-Orita Aperin Road at Orita Aperin.
