A final update and pictures of the now completed reconstruction of Felele Idi Odo Junction–Splash FM Radio Station–Onigari Felele Expressway (3.5 km).

The Oyo State Government has completed the reconstruction of the 3.5 km Felele–Idi Odo Junction–Splash FM Radio Station–Onigari Felele Expressway in Ibadan. This urban corridor, which previously posed challenges for commuters, has now been fully rehabilitated to improve mobility, safety, and overall road durability.

A key component of the Felele Idi Odo Junction–Splash FM Radio Station–Onigari Felele Expressway project was the completion of drainage infrastructure along the route. The Idi Odo axis, often experienced heavy water accumulation and traffic congestion during periods of rainfall. With the road now completely reconstructed, the impact of flooding is expected to be significantly reduced, while also extending the lifespan of the road.

Beyond its structural improvements, the Felele–Idi Odo–Splash FM–Onigari Expressway serves as an important link connecting residential communities, commercial areas, and key media institutions. Its completion is already contributing to smoother traffic flow, reduced travel time, and a more efficient commuting experience for road users.

The upgraded road also helps minimise vehicle wear and tear, while improving safety conditions for both motorists and pedestrians.

Residents and commuters along this corridor can now experience the benefits of a modernised road network that supports daily movement and economic activity.
