A final update and pictures of the now completed Ibadan Central Bus Terminals 1 and 2 (Iwo Road Bus Interchange). The transformation of Oyo State’s transport infrastructure continues with the completion of the Ibadan Central Bus Terminals 1 and 2 (Iwo Road Bus Interchange), a major step forward in the State’s modern public transportation agenda.

Strategically located at one of Ibadan’s busiest transit hubs, the two terminals are linked by a pedestrian bridge, allowing commuters to move easily and safely between both terminals.

Like the already completed Challenge and Ojoo Bus Terminals, the new Ibadan Central Bus Terminals 1 and 2 (Iwo Road Bus Interchange) have been built to meet international standards, featuring:

  • Administrative offices
  • Restaurants and retail shops
  • Arrival concourse
  • Loading bay
  • Clean and secure facilities

These amenities are designed to provide comfort, order, and convenience for thousands of daily users while improving the overall commuter experience in Ibadan, Oyo State.

The completion of all four modern terminals, at Challenge, Ojoo, New Ife, and Iwo Road, demonstrates the Oyo State Government’s commitment to modernising its transport system and creating a more efficient, safe, and inclusive urban mobility network.

With the commissioning taking place today, 12 November 2025, the Ibadan Central Bus Terminals 1 and 2 (Iwo Road Bus Interchange) officially join the list of infrastructure projects redefining public transportation in Oyo State.
