Now Completed at LAUTECH Iseyin Campus: Construction of Various Buildings
A final update and pictures of the completed construction of various buildings at the College of Agricultural Sciences and Renewable Natural Resources, Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) Iseyin Campus. Governor Seyi Makinde flagged off the construction of the LAUTECH Iseyin Campus awarded to MCFRAN Environmental Resources Ltd in December 2021, and the project commenced in March 2022.
The completed buildings at the LAUTECH Iseyin campus include an administrative building, a 500-capacity lecture theatre, a 500-capacity auditorium, and conference rooms/offices. The LAUTECH Iseyin Campus was inaugurated by His Excellency Chief Olusegun Obasanjo on Friday, 15 September, 2023 and during the inauguration, Governor Makinde revealed that 1,533 students will resume at the campus in October 2023.
The completed construction at LAUTECH Iseyin Campus is in fulfilment of the Oyo State Government’s multi-campus approach for the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology to expand the school. The Oyo State Government is also ensuring that both campuses of LAUTECH at Ogbomoso and Iseyin are connected via the nearly completed 76.67 km Iseyin-Fapote-Ogbomoso Road.
